ABOUT THE JOB: The Automotive Sales Associate is responsible for fostering and developing customer relationships, selling vehicles, meeting dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. Successful automotive sales includes four broad areas of activity: disciplined work habits, prospecting new customers, closing the sale, and customer follow-up.
SALES ASSOCIATES - RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Determine customer's perfect vehicle by asking questions and listening.
Demonstrate vehicles including test drives.
Report to the Sales Managers regarding objectives, planned activities, and analytics.
Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and their benefit to customers.
Maintain a prospect development system.
Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the products.
Introduce customers to Service Department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in our expert service department.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.

Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks and pre-employment drug test.
