Job Description:
We are looking for someone with strong management in pipe utility related construction.
Under the direction of the Regional VP Operations, the General Manager will have P&L oversight responsibility for assigned business unit. This person will be responsible for financial, facility and personnel management, business development, sales management and all facets of project management. Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Must communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management, staff, field representatives, salesmen and clients.
High degree of organization, problem recognition, customer focus, strategic planning and execution.
Oversees project management and operations, including quality, safety and progress of work and budget compliance.
Compliance will all regulatory requirements
Proficient written and oral communications
Travel, as appropriate, to facilitate core responsibilities
Establish and maintain productive working relationship with the entire team and customer base.
Set goals and communicate these goals to the entire team and coordinate the work necessary to accomplish them.
Create and maintain improvements on all systems and procedures.
Oversee staffing and management of direct reports
Daily leadership by example
Determine budgets, set and achieve financial goals.

Final review and approval of all bid packages.
Plan ahead and manage operations, facility, inventory and purchasing.

Ensure compliance with all safety requirements of all sites & vendors

Qualifications : (Education, Experience, Required & Preferred Skills, Physical abilities )
Minimum 10 years experiences in construction, open trench /utility or trenchless pipe rehabilitation

years experience in managing people
Minimum of 5-10 years of business unit/operations senior management in pipe rehabilitation or construction related industry.
Experience in contracts administration
Experience in working with Federal/State/Local and private companies
Experience with engineering materials, asset management and quality management
Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders
Well versed with municipal contracting

years as a Construction Manager with a background building out major metropolitan markets
Bachelor's in civil engineering/construction management/Business Administration or other technical studies
Well versed with municipal contracting
Lead and represent the company in its activities

Incumbent must possess and demonstrate proficiency in project management. Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills. Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation procedures.
Bottom Line Requirements:

years of experiences in construction, open trench /utility or trenchless pipe rehabilitation.

3. Experience in working with Federal, State, Local and private companies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
