Mid-Level SQL DBA / Stone Mountain

Growing and fast-paced company has an immediate need for a DBA/Systems Administrator on a contract to perm or direct hire basis. Emphasis on the DBA and SQL duties. In this role, you will work on a team of about 15 in a cutting-edge, state of the art facility that is sure to impress!
This position requires skill as a DBA at a junior-to-mid-level, including experience handling day-to-day support, maintenance and backups on SQL databases. You will work with the development team to handle updates to database tables and schemas when needed (75-80%).
You will also assist in support for servers Windows 2003 and 2008 in a virtual environment and some Sun Solaris. Assist with basic maintenance of MS Exchange 2010, Active Directory, adding users, resetting passwords, email troubleshooting for end users. Some performance of backups of systems as well as other production boxes in the environment. (15-20%). Occasional support of users/simple troubleshooting on Macs (5%).
Requirements:
2-5 years of SQL Server DBA experience
Working knowledge of SQL Server DBA best practices (e. g. , Instance management, index optimization, Statistics optimization)
Query and database tuning skills
Experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008 and 2008 R2
Reporting Skills (Crystal, SSRS)
Some experience with Windows (2003, 2008 and 2008 R2), AD, and Exchange.
Preferences:
Experience developing SSIS packages.
Any experience with Apple Mac Desktops, Oracle, Linux/Unix, Sun Solaris, VM.
Bachelor's Degree.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
