doors) that demand a level of quality, consistency, and artistry that you can't get from just any millwork shop.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Millworker to join our team.
As a Millworker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality wood products in accordance with precise specifications.
Your duties will include operating woodworking machinery, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring the final products meet our quality standards.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Effectively and efficiently follow all quality and safety procedures, as specified by data sheet and other guides.
Program, set-up, run, and clean several machines within the workstation.
Strong attention to detail and quality, ensuring all projects fulfill our quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Maintaining all equipment used within the shop.
Notify management immediately of any issues with equipment or any observed safety risks.
Interact in a professional manner with all levels of employees:
Management, Executives, or Customers.
Knowledge of blueprints, shop drawings, and architectural drawings.
Use of hand tools as well as power tools.
Executing quality control inspections throughout the build process ensuring finished materials are free of defects.
Requirements:
This role entails standing for long periods of time; inputting data in a computer; reading labels, signs, measuring devices, and information from a computer.
Proven experience as a Millworker or similar role in woodworking.
Proficiency in using woodworking machinery and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Regularly lifting, pushing, and pulling a minimum of 50 pounds.
Regularly wearing PPE, including but not limited to closed-toe shoes and eye as well as ear protection.
