Responsibilities:

Prospect for new group businessRespond to inquiries and requests for proposalsPlan for and execute predetermined number of sales trips in feeder citiesAttend industry eventsEstablish a strong partnership with regional representation companiesResearch client room night histories for previous meetings and manage the room block from the time of the booking until the meeting beginsPlan for and execute sales presentations in local or feeder cities.
Must be team orientedMaintain in-depth electronic and paper account filesUpdate database on a continual basisUnderstand sales strategies and tactics of competitor hotelsNegotiate all rates for group accounts within the guidelines of our budgeted average rateExcellent group presentation, writing, speaking, and training experience and skills.
Strong business analysis skills with the ability to understand and manage complex salesExcellent negotiating skills with the ability to develop and execute account sales plans and write detailed proposalsMaintain accurate account files and provide rapid response and follow up to account service needsExcellent time management skillsAbility to be a leader within the hotel interacting with all levels of clients and managementQualification Requirements:
An individual must have at least 5
years hotel sales experience or proven sales performance in similar field.
Must have met or exceeded a minimum of $1 Million annual Group Sales Goal.
Must be motivated to achieve quarterly individual and annual team bonus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
